Shooting Star

The shooting star plays quite a big role in their relationship. Squall and Rinoa have their first encounter after seeing a shooting star at the SeeD dance.

Later, they are at the flower field where Rinoa describes a scary dream she had. In the dream, they promise to see shooting stars together, but she doesn't know where to meet him. She runs and runs but can't find Squall anywhere and wakes up crying. Squall tells her not to worry and makes a promise that he'll be there.

At the end of the game, they are both out on the Garden balcony and see... another shooting star! Rinoa does her cute little point towards the shooting star, just like how she did when they first met, and Squall smiles and goes in for a kiss ♥
